Keywords: new economy control system, uniform terminology, new forms of integration

After 1968, the new economy control system led to better conditions for agricultural partnerships as well. Eliminating the earlier “plan”-based control system allowed firms to make decisions for themselves. This opened up new paths of development in agriculture, leading to inter-company and intra-company integration. The 1970-ies were therefore characterised by the spreading of agricultural partnerships in Hungary. Some of these partnerships and cooperation arrangements could still adapt to current market situation and could function efficiently.
