The Hungarian firm MOL requires yearly about 200 thousand tons of biodiesel inputs. In Hungary first of all rape-seed is suitable for production of biodiesel which can be mixed with fuel but the producable amount of rape-seed only partly covers demand of MOL. Therfore it is necessary to search for other inputs. Use of second-hand edible oil as an additional input seems to be an excellent solution. Such a usage of second-hand edible oil is important not only as a substitute for food production but also becoming a dangerous wastage collecting and using it carefully has not been considered as a solved problem nowadays.
