LEADER collaboration in the economic sphere by the eight settlements in the North Hungary region connects agriculture and tourism. It not only preserves the extremely decorative cultural and other traditions, but makes them “sellable” and useable. Furthermore it advances the retention of young people, promotes local trades and, naturally, serves to fulfil the needs and demands of local residents to the full. These early beginnings hint at excellent results.
